When leaders understand the “why” and “how” of Scouting, they are equipped to deliver a high-quality, fun, and meaningful program for youth. While we often say, “Every Scout deserves a trained leader,” it’s equally true that “Every leader deserves training.”
Completing your training not only makes your role easier—it makes it more rewarding. Training builds confidence, strengthens skills, and helps every leader provide the best possible Scouting experience.
How can I get trained?
- Training Requirements – Everything you need to know to become fully trained for your position.
- E-Learning – Take classes online to become fully trained
- Live Instructor Training – The Vulcan District provides live training during the year. Follow the calendar to learn when the next training course is scheduled.
