The Greater Alabama Council is proud to announce our two International Camp Staffers who will be spending the summer at Camp Comer and Camp Sequoyah. Make sure to welcome them to Alabama when your troop visits one of these camps this summer.

Camp Comer Staffer

Elba Ortuno Catacora is from La Paz, Bolivia is assigned to Camp Comer. She has been a Scout for 4 years, a Venturer for 3 years, a Rover for 3 years, and a Scout Leader for 4 years. Her Scoutcraft skills are campfires, backpacking, camping, Hiking, Nature/Ecology, outdoor cooking, pioneering. Her program skills are arts and crafts, first aid, knots, photography, and swimming. She has the Scouts of the World Award and Scout I-II Wood Badge training. A the end of Summer Camp, she will leave Alabama and go to the 15th Rover Moot in Iceland before returning to Bolivia.

Camp Seqoyah Staffer

Juaraj Rojko is from Bratislava, Slovakia is assigned to Camp Sequoyah. He has been a Scout for 2 years and a Rover for 5 years. His Scoutcraft skills are backpacking, camping, hiking, nature/ecology and survival skills. He has completed a 33-hour first aid course. Before coming to Alabama he was camping with his Scout Troop in the Czech Republic. On returning to Slovakia, Juaraj will enter a University in Prague, Czech Republic.
