Pack-95-Webelos-2-2014

On January 8, 2015, The Webelos 2 held their last Den Meeting that worked on advancements before earning their Arrow of Light award.  Even though the temperature was in the teens and most had to wear hat and gloves inside the Scout Hut, the Den was enthusiastic working on the Communicator Activity Pin. The Den had a special guest to discuss how Spanish is used and is part of our every day lives. As part of the requirements, the Den wrote the following article reflecting on their years in Cub Scouts with Pack 95.

“Through the Years”

We have enjoyed so many events through our years as Cub Scouts.  We love the campouts, especially Sharks Tooth Creek, Camporee, and the USS Alabama.  On the campouts, we loved singing at the campfires, eating tacos in a bag for dinner, and getting to camp as Webelos without our parents.  Racing pinewood derby cars and raingutter regatta races were awesome, especially when we won!  As Webelos, we got to collect activity pins and earning lots of them was fun.  As we got older, earning our whittling chip to use a knife was great.  Then we learned to use flint and steel as a Webelos.  It is hard to pick out one thing we enjoyed the most because everything was awesome!
