If you need service hours, especially conservation hours, Red Mountain Park has some opportunities for you.

Most workdays are conservation hours for Forest Restoration – removing invasive Chinese privet in order to clear the underbrush for native plants to thrive. By creating a balanced ecosystem, they are providing a healthy, happy habitat for the wildlife that calls RMP home.

If you have a group of 10 or more, Red Mountain Park would be happy to add a service day. If weekdays work better for you, they could also easily accommodate a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday from 9 am – Noon.

If you have any questions or if you’re interested in customizing a workday contact Director of Volunteers, Angela Cleary at 205.419.5932 or acleary@redmountainpark.org.
